I did another Geometric Art piece last night in the early hours of morning, curtesy to winter break. This one is of Shay Mitchell. Really loving this! I love the outcome and it's actually fun to do....

Geometric Art on Adobe Illustrator

On average, I use illustrator a couple hours a day. Every day. Every week. Graphic Design is one of my loves, so I tend to experiment a lot. Recently I've done artworks with Pop Art and Sponge effected triangles, but I'd been seeing a lot of a new type of project called "Geometric Art" floating around on Pinterest and just the web in general.. Type that into Google and see the results, because they're amazing.

So today, I decided to give it a try. When you see the examples on Google Images you'd have the same thought I did: it looks much more difficult than pressing a few buttons and hitting Enter. It looks complex, challenging, time-consuming, and effort-requiring. But, who's not up for a challenge? I used a posted-tutorial on this website: http://connecting4.com/how-to-adobe-illustrator-geometric-art/ so if you want to give it a try, I totally recommend it. The outcome will make you proud.

I didn't have time to have a photoshoot of somebody, so I just got an easy-based picture of Taylor Swift, one of my favourite celebrities, and worked the magic of the tutorial. This was my result:

5 Hair Products That Have Saved My Life

Hey readers.

Let me tell you the characteristics of my hair:

-Blonde
-Overly-curly
-Easily-frizzy
-Thick when curly
-Thin when straight
-Tearing
-Knotty

Basically everything on this list is a major issue when it comes to haircare. My hair knots, messes, tears, gets frizzy when it's humid, gets frizzy when it's raining, freezing, hot, cold, it's thick when it's curly and madly hard to brush, but thin when it's straight and silky. Sounds like great hair, right?!
Over the years I've tried multiple products and these are the five that have stuck with me and helped me to the point I have literally kissed the bottle...I show affection.

1. Palmolive 'Fashion Girl' Detangling Spray.

While it may look like a childish spray for little kids, and even though it probably is, through my adolescence I disregarded the silly product design and used it as it worked wonders. A few sprays through my knotty hair did the trick, then I would brush it thoroughly. Let's be honest, I used more than a few sprays...

Tips:
Do not do more than five sprays in the same direct area. This will only make the hair extra wet and oily.
Do not apply directly to your hair, keep it about five inches from your desired section.
Do not spray it directly onto your roots!!!!!!!!! This only creates an oily look after a few hours or as soon as it dries (I learnt this the hard way).

You can find this product at local supermarkets, I'm not quite sure if hair specialists sell it...
It's cheap and affordable, compared to other expensive haircare products. This is pretty much the only detangler I've ever used so I'm not quite sure as I can't compare, but it does the trick for me!

2.  KMS California Anti-Humidity Seal.

This hair product keeps my hair staying mildly-tameable when I'm in a hot temperature or tropical climate. It allows my hair to become wavy as opposed to crazy curly, and it's perfect for vacations. I bought this at a hair salon a little while back, but ask your local hair dresser to see if they have any in stock. If not, I'm sure it's available on the web somewhere.

Tips: Do not apply more than a twenty-cent piece, as it can dry it out and make it look gross.

To use after the shower, only apply about a fingertip of it and tassle it through brushed hair.

Brush before applying it, not after as it will not be affective.

3. L'oreal Paris Studio Volume Max Amplifying Mousse

This mousse by L'oreal Paris is what I use when I feel like my hair is thin after straightening it. I add it in to give it a little more volume and visible thickness, since it really does feel thin. I usually do not like mousses in my hair as I find them sticky, messy, and gross, but this one is amazing. I simply lather no more than a twenty-cent piece in my hands and apply gently after straightening it. 

Tips:

Do not use too much as you will totally wreck your stylised hair.

Be careful adding it as if you mess it up, you should not straighten it again after. The mousse will make it burn.

Do not apply to wet hair, it works better on dry.

Be gentle when applying!!!!

Don't add too much especially to the roots, I hardly do any at the roots. Too much will just make your hair look oily, greasy, and gross.

4. Muk Beach Muk Sea Salt Spray

This spray has totally saved me when I'm in a rush or going out someplace and can't be bothered taming my hair. This sea salt spray creates a stylish hairdo, making amazing waves. It can sometimes give a beachy looking style which actually looks really good. Type into Google Images, "beach hair" and look at the amazing results that come up. This sea salt spray gives the style you see in those various images. You can apply it to wet or dry hair, but it works best wet. After washing it, add a few sprays of it all over, and then scrunch your hair after tipping it upside down. Dry it with a hairdryer for best results.

I bought this at my local hairdresser, so that could be your best bet. I've seen it in so many different hair salons that it's very uncommon for it not to be there. I've seen Muk make different kinds of sprays but this is the only one I've ever tried and to me it works fantastic.

Tips: 

Apply it to wet hair and not dry. 

For applying to dry hair, brush your hair nicely and then shake your head/hair around and then apply. It gives a better effect.

Don't apply too much, it just makes it feel like straw.

Apply a few inches away and not too close.

5. Matrix Total Results Amplifying Shampoo + Conditioner

My sister and I had found our hair to be stripping a lot lately, tearing and almost falling out after using cheap supermarket shampoos and conditioners on sale. We watched a haircare video on YouTube and we found out that using normal hair conditioners and shampoos is basically like applying detergent to your hair. Gross! We went to our local Hairhouse Warehouse and picked up the Matrix Total Results Amplifying Shampoo + Conditioner. Within days, our hair was looking silkier, feeling softer, it was easier to brush, and didn't have any tears or knots. It was also creating a great volume in our hair. I really love this shampoo and conditioner, and it's not too expensive either! The clerk gave us the two for twenty dollars (ten dollars each) as opposed to the retail price of $15.99 each. We love this and continue to buy it.

You can find it at Hairhouse Warehouse, maybe hair salons or online. I don't think you need any tips if you know how to use shampoo and conditioner!!!

CHANGING!

Hi everyone,

I am giving you a short notice that I am going to be changing nearly everything on this blog. I've changed up my header and favicon (which I hope are displaying properly) and I am going to be writing more on an array of topics.

I have deleted all of my other posts excluding two or three that I'd like to keep. I wrote a post a little while ago about 10 Best TV Shows and I think that that type of post is what I would like to have more on this blog.
